About Elmora

Elmora was founded in a small backyard workshop where founder Nathan Ellis began building custom furniture pieces using locally sourced hardwood and reclaimed lumber. Originally creating one-off commissions for nearby homeowners, the workshop steadily expanded into a dedicated studio specializing in handcrafted furniture and interior woodwork.

Each Elmora piece is fabricated from raw hardwood materials including oak, walnut, maple, and ash sourced from independent mills and regional suppliers. Every board is carefully selected for grain quality, durability, and natural texture before being cut, assembled, and hand-finished inside our workshop.

We intentionally avoid large-scale production and warehouse inventory. Every order is built after purchase, allowing us to focus entirely on craftsmanship, detail, and material quality. From initial lumber preparation to final finishing, each piece is individually handcrafted for the customer who commissioned it.
